Frequently Asked Questions

I provide hands-on business support for independent vet clinics — HR, WHS and compliance, financials, systems (including ezyVet and other PMS platforms), leadership coaching, marketing, and clinic setups or acquisitions.
Whether you need one specific project handled or ongoing support across multiple areas, the work is shaped around what your clinic actually needs.

I'm based in Melbourne, but I work with independent clinics across Australia and New Zealand.
With the platforms available today, a lot of the work — policy and HR setup, systems and pricing projects, coaching — can be done remotely, and I'm also happy to travel on-site for clinic builds, acquisitions, or projects that benefit from being there in person.

Getting started is easy — book a complimentary Clinic Health Check or a no-obligation Discovery Call.
We'll talk through where your clinic's at, what you're hoping to achieve (or the idea you're working through), and whether working together makes sense, before anything is locked in.

Every engagement starts with a no-obligation initial meeting — in your clinic, over coffee, or on a call — to get a feel for what you need or the idea you have.
From there, projects and tasks are quoted as a scope of work rather than an hourly rate, so you're never watching the clock. Pricing reflects the level of expertise involved — bespoke HR training and setup, for example, is priced differently to a systems or pricing tidy-up, since one draws on executive-level strategy and the other is largely process and data work.
A deposit secures the work, and the final amount when the work is completed. Payment plans are available to keep support accessible to all Clinics when you need it most.

I keep room in my schedule for urgent or time-sensitive issues — clinics don't always get to choose when something needs fixing, and I want to be able to say yes when it matters.
Alongside that, I run a mix of longer-term work: full clinic builds (6–18 months), acquisitions and new ownership transitions (around 3 months), ezyVet tidy-ups (2–3 weeks), and single-day trainings or planning sessions.
That variety is part of why I can flex when needed (and love what I do)— so if timing's a concern, get in touch and we'll figure out what's possible.
-
Yes, always.
Whether it's an acquisition, a sensitive HR issue, or a new idea you're exploring, everything is covered by a confidentiality agreement and handled with full discretion — information is shared strictly on a need-to-know basis, so you can speak openly.
I also hold full professional indemnity and public liability insurance, so you're covered when I'm on-site working in your clinic.

I'm not the kind of consultant who hands you a report, a session, or a booklet and wishes you luck. My approach is hands-on — often working right in your clinic, inside your systems, alongside your team.
Think of it less like hiring a consultant and more like gaining an extra pair of experienced hands as part of your regular team, invested in seeing the work through, not just pointing out what's wrong.
